  • What should I wear to my appointment?
If you’re coming in for an upper or lower back massage, the best approach is to remove your top entirely to allow full access to your back muscles. For ladies, I recommend wearing a bra that can be easily unclipped, giving me access to the areas that need treatment while ensuring your comfort. When treating the lower body, loose-fitting shorts are ideal. Tight clothing, such as cycling shorts, can restrict access to key muscle groups like the upper legs and glutes. To get the most out of your session, make sure any clothing can be easily adjusted or moved to allow me to work directly on the muscles of your thighs and calves. Clothing Guidelines: To maintain a professional environment, clients are expected to wear appropriate attire during treatments. If I’ll be working on your lower back, glutes, or hamstrings, please wear shorts or boxers. Clients must wear at least underwear to ensure modesty and comfort throughout the session. You will always be draped with a top sheet, towel, or clothed for your comfort and privacy. Feel free to leave on as much clothing as you feel comfortable with.
  • How do I know if treatment is suitable for me?
Before your first appointment, we'll discuss any contraindications that may prevent you from receiving massage treatment. If any new issues arise during your course of treatment, we'll reassess to ensure it's still appropriate for you. Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical care, and you should continue any medical treatment or medication prescribed by your healthcare provider. Always consult with your GP or a healthcare professional for medical advice when needed. My treatments are designed to help a wide range of people, from athletes looking to improve performance and recover faster, to desk workers needing relief from tension and aches. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or simply seeking relaxation and stress relief, my therapies are tailored to meet your unique needs. No matter your lifestyle, age, or fitness level, I’m here to support your journey to better movement and overall wellbeing.
  • What should I expect after treatment?
It’s common to experience mild muscle soreness, aching, or occasional localised bruising following deep tissue massage therapy. This is a normal part of the healing process and should subside as your body recovers. Exercise is not recommended for 24-48 hours after your treatment.
  • Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! Gift vouchers are available for purchase and can be used for any of our treatments. They make a perfect gift for someone who could benefit from some well-deserved relaxation or recovery. They are available to be purchased in clinic or pop me an email/message to purchase online. I can then either post the gift card or you can collect it from the clinic.
  • How do I book an appointment?
You can easily book your session online through my booking system. Simply choose your preferred time and treatment, and secure your spot with a few clicks.
  • What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Life happens! Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations result in full payment of the session.
